APD 2016 is offering two free accreditations to producers submitting the best German-Polish or German-Baltic animation project

As a kick-off event to this years Cartoon Forum in Toulouse the German Producers Alliance hosted the event „German – European Alliances in Animation“ in order to strengthen international co-productions. This year the event focused on the countries Poland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia, which all have established funding structures for animation in recent years. More than 70 participants from Germany, Poland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia joined the event and discussed future projects and approaches for further collaborations.

In order to enhance the sustainability of this meeting, Animation Production Day supports the event by awarding the producers of the best new German-Polish or German-Baltic animation project with 2 free accreditations for APD 2016. The project will be selected by the APD expert panel. In addition to the free APD accreditation for the partnering producers APD will also cover the costs for three hotel nights.

Producers can submit animation projects (TV series, feature films, games and transmedia projects) at concept, development or production stage.

Deadline for submission is 22 February 2016.
